World of Leading Golf’s annual awards were hosted at impressive Royal Bled on Wednesday night recognising some of the industry’s best club and resorts across several prestigious categories.

“Best Member 2018” was awarded to Le Golf National, host of this year’s Ryder Cup. It claimed the top honours ahead of a number of leading venues including Stoke Park and Celtic Manor.

Based upon  Mystery Test results from throughout the year and carried out by independent 3rd party, International Golf Research, five other winners were deservedly crowned during the night.

”Best Service” was won by La Reserva Sotogrande with The Legends course at Penati Golf Resort in Slovakia taking the title of “Best Course Conditions 2018”.

With previous success in the same category, the title for “Best Culinary Offerings” was awarded to Golf Club Beuerberg in Germany.

The newly renovated Royal Bled deservingly won “Best Overall Impression” delighting guests throughout the year with outstanding service and attention to detail.

From a number of new clubs joining the WLG community in 2018, it was the much talked about West Cliffs in Portugal that won the title “Best Newcomer” and is certain to rival other category winners in the future.
