Playing in Sweden’s oldest National Championship, Robin Petersson and Jonathan Åhgren have helped Vasatorps Golf Club secure their 7th National Men’s Team Championship.

It was a near flawless performance from Vasatorp having held the lead or a share of the lead after each of the 6 rounds played on the two courses of Barsebäck Golf and Country Club, venue of this year’s Nordea Masters.

Comprising Foursomes, Bestball and Singles, it was strong play in the Foursomes and Singles that ensured Vasatorp a one shot over its nearest competitor AIK Golf Club. Finishing with a team total of 25 under both Robin and Jonathan will be looking to carry their strong form over to the remainder of the season.

Jonathan will be returning to the Sunshine Tour whilst Robin is scheduled to make his Challenge Tour debut next week.
