ROBIN PREPARES IN SOUTH AFRICA AHEAD OF A NEW CHALLENGE TOUR SEASON

With the European Challenge Tour commencing their 2021 season later this month, it has been a long-awaited return to golf for Robin Petersson.

With a break of more than 20 weeks from competition, Robin arrived at Pearl Valley Golf Estates in South Africa one month ahead of the Limpopo Championship, to practice and prepare for the South African swing.

The Limpopo Championship played at Euphoria Golf Club is the first of 3 co-sanctioned events with the Sunshine Tour and Robin will be looking to draw upon his experience in South Africa and last year's season end on the Challenge Tour to kick start his 2021 season.

Robin had a chance to win in his final CT event of 2020, when he worked his way into the lead during the final round of the Challenge Tour Grand Final before finishing in a tie for fifth after rounds 73-66-66 and 70.

His T5th at the Grand Final was his best finish on the Challenge Tour in 2020 and ultimately saw him finish ranked 26th on the Road to Mallorca. He will be looking for a strong start to the season with the aim of finishing top 20 on the 2021 OOM to secure one of the full European cards on offer for 2022.

We wish him the best!
