Playing in his rookie season as a Professional and beginning the year without any status on tour, Robin Petersson finishes his 2017 Nordic League inside the Top 30 on the Order of Merit ensuring Category 1 for the 2018 season.

A late entry in the Swedish Tour Final, Robin started the week slow, struggling in the strong winds as the scoring average for the field pushed past 75. Day two saw a drastic improvement in the weather and scores and despite a second round 72 Robin remained 10 shots behind the leader.

Heading into the final round and projected outside the top 30, Robin took advantage of solid ball striking and a hot putter to post a course record 65 on the redesigned Kristianstad layout. His round of 65 and low round of the year ensured a T8 in the Tour Final, Top 30 OOM and importantly, playing rights in Category 1 for next season.
