LAG SM proved yet again, why it remains one of the most prized events in Swedish Golf with just 2 strokes separating 1st and 2nd in the week-long golfing marathon.

Representing Vasatorp Golf Club, Robin Peterson helped the 2017 Champions to a solid start with the team recording 70-68 in the difficult foursomes to sit just 3 shots from the lead.

The afternoon Fourballs created a little more separation amongst clubs with 2nd place Landeryd firing rounds of 61-60 to jump to the top of the table, leaving Vasatorp 9 shots adrift.

Failing to make any ground on the leaders during singles and subsequent foursomes and fourballs, Vasatorp entered the final round in 5th position, 11 shots behind.

A final round 5 under (68) and low round of the day on the difficult Masters Course positioned Petersson and Vasatorp in contention for another title.

The final holes proved crucial with Landeryd edging past Vasatorp by a small shot 2 shot margin 1111 (41 under) to 1113 (39 under).

Since turning Professional, Robin has helped Vasatorp to Gold and two silvers in the past 3 years.
