BJÖRKMAN AND KAMMERSTAD  READY TO SHOWCASE
THEIR TALENT

Leading Swedish golfers Johan Kammerstad and Joakim Björkman are eager to take center stage at the inaugural G4D Open beginning tomorrow at Woburn Golf Club. Featuring eighty of the world’s best golfers with a disability, the event will be contested on the Duchess Course over 54 holes of Strokeplay.

Following the R&A’s announcement earlier this year to add another major event to its calendar The Championship is set for a historic showing and will be one of the most inclusive fields with nine sport classes and almost 20 countries represented.

Teammates and fierce competitors, both Björkman and Kammerstad are no strangers to big events and are appreciative of the ever-increasing opportunities for golfers with a disability to play at the elite level. Having won European and World Championship titles together along with individual titles including Swedish Opens, Italian Opens and Australian All-Abilities Championships, the pair of talented golfers are keen to see their names etched in history.
