FUNG COLLECTS WIN #20

Nicholas Fung returned to the winner’s circle with a 2 shot victory in the PGM’s Pahang Championship at Royal Pekan Golf Club.

Beginning the day 3 shots behind overnight leader Ervin Chang, Fung started quickly with 3 birdies in his opening 7 holes to take the lead following a bogey by Chang on the par 3 7th.  Out in 33, Fung asserted his dominance on the tournament adding further birdies at the 11th and 13th to lead by 4 with just 5 holes to play.

With scores of 68, 69 and 68 (11 under) it was Fung’s 20th victory as a professional and 17th on the Professional Tour of Malaysia.
