FINAL HOLE BIRDIE SECURES VICTORY FOR FUNG

Holing a 20ft putt on the last hole for birdie, Nicholas Fung secured his 18th PGM title at the PGM Tiara Melaka Championship. His second win on the PGM circuit in 2022.

Beginning the final round tied for the lead, Nicholas started with 8 pars before his first birdie of the day at hole 9. Kickstarting his round he quickly added further birdies at 11 and 13 before his putt on 18 found the bottom of the cup to secure a 1 stroke victory over clubhouse leader Shahriffuddin Ariffin.

With rounds of 70, 69 and 68 (9 under) around the Tiara Melaka Golf and Country Club, Nicholas will be looking to continue his good form for the final two events of the Asian Tour season.
